However it does appear Gerrard acted like a jumped up arrogant moron and if he threw attacking punches and it wasn't self defence then he has to take his punishment. If he's found guilty but avoids a custodial sentence and is free to play football he MUST be stripped of the Liverpool captaincy for good. I hope the management have the balls to do it.
