With their aeronautical curves, the trucks designed by Professor Luigi Colani nearly resemble a spaceship. The Berlin native has been working on the development of these futuristic tractor trailers since the 1950s. Inspired by nature, Colani designs the truck bodies in streamline form.

I can't see the point
Of spending all that money on styling for a big tank on wheels. Is this why petrol prices are so high? Cost of litre of petrol = £1.20, of which transport costs =£0.50

futuristic but what matters is what kind of gas mileage does it get? by 2015 it had better get over 50-60 miles a gallon or it just isn't worth the metal its made from.
