    Don't get me wrong I love the Wii and I'm going to buy one, but It's not going ot kill the PS3. It does have very unique gameplay, but PS3 has so much processing power, the ability to process 8 things at once is very useful for game developers to take advantage of. PS3 is overall more powerful, Wii flogs it on price and in some ways originality.

    ps3 is shit...the only thing it can brag sucessfully is its processing power and impressive technologcal architecture...it will have awesome graphics. but thats not what makes good games. wii should outsell all the competition poviding the world still has some level of competance left in it. nintendo have truly made an incredibly console that will have the best and most original gameplay.

    Why do you love the company you do? I love Nintendo because the games are fun, Smash Brothers anyone, and they can make people like me who used to be mostly a sports, RPG, and fighter gamer, and occosional platform gamer, into a guy who plays so much more now, Goldeneye sort of got me into FPS's, and well I use to hate action-adventure games, until OoT ( if you don't know what that is then your an idiot Sony fanboy, and have no right to say anything). OoT alone got me to start playing action-adventure games, can anyone else claim one single game got them into a genere of games?

    Also with the Wii, my dad who still thinks getting me and my bro a SNES was a mistake plays the Wii, and my mom has asked to play with us, can X-Box 360 or PS3 do that. Also, all you Sony fanboys do know that Sony decieded to do the motion sensitive controller after, AFTER, Nintendo had announced theirs, right?

    To the X-Box fans, Halo is great for multiplayer, tons of fun online, but I have Halo for the computer and can get in games easily online for free, oh yeah did everyone forget about the FREE Wi-fi the Wii will have, and the Virtural Console, any other system have anything like that, where they can play classic games, like the original LoZ, with more still to come.

      Nintendo is smart; they are appealing to the larger audience. I'd say that for every gamer in the world, there's got to be at least 3 non-gamers, and Nintendo is showing them that they can have fun with games too!

      And plus, they only time that I'd buy a PS3 or 360 for more than $50 is if I could re-sell it for more.

    Wii has about 8Gb/s bandwidth and the others run one their 25 Gb/s so they are more powerful, but PC too,8800 (G80) 80Gb/s but people don't want some huge PC or Bulky PS3, when all the games are the same.
    It's boring, nothing new on PC and this HD consoles.
    Wii at least is fresh and has unique gameplay :)

    Note I'm a PC workstation user,with a 7900GTX.
    But I prefer gameplay over graphics.

      The 360 is the one with the 5 minute life span, it has 30-50% failure rate. Both the Wii has less than 1%.

      I've had my Wii since launch (about 1 year ago) and have had no problems whatsoever.

    its true, wii have a original gameplay, but only for a birthday party or kids ... We cant even compare the graphical power. Play on wii METAL GEAR or ASSASINS CREED, personally, i prefer to play this kind of games.

    They have made it alot harder to program for. So it wont be able to produce what it can until the programmers get their heads around it. Look at Call Of Duty 3. On XBOX360 it looks and plays fine. On PS3 which should be better it looks good but sufferes from FPS lag...

      the ps3 will only get awsome graphics if you have a hd tv with hd bluetooth otherwise it won't work. Man ps3 almost had me fooled with the graphics. If you use a regular tv the graphics won't be wow like it should be.

    the velocity of wii is not quite as resistant as the ps3, thus making the wii inferior to the ps3. although, on the other hand the riperends of the wii is far great than the ps3 thus evening it out. Which leaves the wii at an indubidable tie which leaves video gamers/nerds creaming there pants at the sign of both of them

      I own a wii and I have to tell you you can compare them all you want but the wii and the 360 are not made for the same type of gameplay. They apply to different audiences and the wii is quick shallow fun nothing more. Oh and BTW technological advancements have nothing to do with when they came out look at the tech specs to see wii's vid card compared to the 360. The ps3 is way too expensive and for a hardcore system it will never be able to achieve what xbox live has.

    Wii: is for kids. is small. has low rate graphics. When I SIT down to play, I want to RELAX. NOT SWEAT. more games with pink fluffy characters. yay. lol

    XBOX360: not enough fun games. seemingly "big" (20gig) hard drive, with no bigger hard drive yet available. 1080i? WHY NOT GO ALL THE WAY TO 1080P? (with games that is...) EXTERNAL HDDVD player? lol. yay.

    PS3: COPIES MS with the In-console hard drive concept. HAD registered ps2 owner survey - asking them WHAT from xbox live they'd want to see in PS3 online services - COPIED MS AGAIN. BUILT-IN blue ray player - that LAGS. OVER PRICED, OVER SIZED, OVER-RATED.

    All consoles also have their UP sides; all depending on what the INDIVIDUAL player likes. So the IDIOTS that say that the Wii-Wii will own all, MUST LIKE PINK FLUFFY CHARACTERS. (I'd get it ONLY for Zelda). IDIOTS that like the XBOX360, MUST LIKE BORING GAMES. And IDIOTS that like the PS3 must be the children of RICH families that like to flaunt their money around OR, PS3 fans might be YUPPIES!! lol. you know - have no money but climb into the credit card debt hole - just to make it LOOK like you have money! lol

    From this video i see that games are rather primitive. They are for children 10 years old.
    I don't really care which one is more powerful : ps3 or qii or x-box/ the only thing i care about is gameplay. So that's conclusion: I never seen games on console better than on pc. Fallout 2 is on pc. Now i play WOW and it's cheap, exciting, for a long time and i don't need to buy console for dumb teenagers to play god damn mario or stupid actions or so called sport games.
