    about the us neavy seals are the best or whatever argument, i dont know if you can compare elite forces cuse each one do diffrent stuff then the other but if you had to choose who is the best comando unit i'd go for "S13" AKA Shayetet 13.

    British S.A.S, S.B.S, French Foreign Legion are better than U.S Navy Seals and the reason i said U.S Navy Seals its that there are other country's Navy Seals way more hard trained than the U.S.
    Lets face it the have very good egiupments but as the basic Underwater Demolition Training they S**ks big time,and not only them but all U.S Special Forces.

      I went through BUD/S. I just got out of the Navy about 8 months ago. I have been to Afghanistan and Iraq and other countries performing missions, and I can tell you the training is not 'soft.' I have had training exercises with Marine Recon, Army Delta, Rangers, Green Berets, British SAS and French Foreign Legion. SEALs are miles ahead of them as far as training in weaponry, explosives, tactics and martial arts. They are ALL elite, but none of them compared to us. A lot of training is the same, but it is the Sea that separates us from the rest..Next time, my friend, check with experience instead of what people with no experience say...and yeah, SERE training is pretty damn rough...and I got to say, for those who don't think the training is classified...you have NO idea what really goes on at SERE, or other advanced training. What good would we be if people knew everything about us? Think about it. :)

      #1- The US Navy does not have 1st Lieutenants. You couldn't even spell it. It would have been Lieutenant Junior Grade.

      We could start a super-sized special education camp right here in one thread! I feel stupider just for posting here. Do you really think that SEALs in Iraq are wandering around in soft caps? To be honest I have to admit there is no way of determining if these are Navy SEALs or not. I suspect they are (assuming the given time frame is correct) for two reasons. One they are wearing all DCUs and second because they are shooting at nothing while not taking rounds.... sounds like SEALs to me ;-).

      And yes I know for a fact they are not taking rounds... if they were you would hear them.
