  • The drill instructor was..

    a complete pushover. When I went through boot camp it was a lot worse than that crap. This drill instructor makes boot camp look like christmas compared to mine.

      I went thru in 1976, and I had it a lot easier than my brother who went in in 1958. Just to give u an example i had to plan and scheme for over 4 weeks just to set up a phone call home. We weren't allowed to make any phone calls at all. And I hear about army guys who got a weekend pass their first week at basic training. Just shows the difference between the marines and other forces.
