I'm growing one in my room but it eats only lfies it too small to eat a frog

U kno the worse thing about this vid, is that a frog got eaten by a plant. Wat do you tell Jesus if you got killed by a plant. Priceless

Venus flytrap...
For the most part,the "petals" rarely get larger than a US nickle (5 cent).
They grow wild in only ONE area in the world. A 50-60 mile radius of the coastal area of the United States in the North Carolina/ South Carolina border area. In other words,where I live :D
I can go into the woods behind my house and find them. Also find Sundew plants and Pitcher Plants (or Jack-in-the-Pulpit's as some people call them )
All plants that have evolved to trap insects in some way to feed off them

Plant stores in your area might have some. I'm sure if you did a search for "Venus Flytrap" you could probably order one online.
Note: They don't get very big. (That housefly nearly fills the trap.) And it takes a few weeks for the trap to dissolve its catch and reopen. The good news, each plant grows several traps of vareying sizes. The bad news, the 'cool' moment lasts around a second, give or take a few milliseconds, and if it catches something when you aren't watching, its a long wait until its ready for its next meal. And really, how many flies or frogs have you got roaming around your: house, apartment or room?
