      I would learn to fly using PC flight simulator first (you made need to purchase a radio system too to make use of it).

      Then if you feel capable find a good club and model plane supplier, open your wallet for a beginner's prop model and take it from there.

      As with model cars, boats.. . be prepared to get tempted and spend, spend, spend fall out with your creditors and maybe lose your girlfriend in the process. I kid you not!
