Have you ever seen what maneuvers is capable to make an helicopter? And two? And three or more at the same time?
Hope you'l enjoy! :)

...does it work with two numbers without the same amount of digits? E.g 42 and 569 multiplied together.
What technique can i use for that? Do i just put zeros in front to make up the digits or what? In fact i'm gonna try it out now.
You can put zeros in front of the number for converting 2 digit numbers to 3 digit numbers. In fact, by induction, you can apply this technique to larger (4-digit, 5-digit etc.) numbers. Takes a bit of practice though.
He's great, has videos out that show how to do all kinds of math in your head and he teaches it to elementary age children!
Check it out if you are interested. but I am not sure where you can buy the videos anymore, the one I have is pretty old.

For a moment my energy surged when i read the title....cool Meth Trick *wheres my foil*
i failed math twice in high school...wish i woulda had stuff like this then. i learned it though, and i'll probably use it!
Ive never really been able to do maths, like many people my brain is so consumed on downloading porn i forget the little things... such as life.
I gave you 5 Stars.
Check this out :))

This is a technique invented by Tranchtenberg and can apply to any number of digits. The cross multiplications are pair products that are at work.
Yeah, you COULD use a calculator...
imagine how smart you'll look when someone else instantly figures out a problem while you stare at the same problem blankly, unable to do anything without your little gadget.
Numbers are meaning less unless you learn the theory behind them. It's no surprise United States have some of the most mathematically challenged people in the world.
pls accept my thanks for teaching us 2digitsx2digits and 3digitsx3digits but what about 4digitsx4digits?pls write an answer
take care

it wasnt hard to figure it out....
i think ill just stick with my method lol
to four digit numbers?
to four digit number?
I think this is pretty cool. Are there really some people that don't get this?
this is an ancient method in India. Not many people know about it. But really a cool method, when you practice enough.
I guess, its known by many names, e.g. teeryak
It could be me, but this is how you're suppose to normally do it, only he's claiming every box is a substep, and multiplying and adding the red arrows are sub sub steps instead of individual steps. It's like at school where they make you show all your work, even though you could have memorized the additions and numbers to carry. So he's basically doing it normally but showing less written work.
The way they teach it in school - you have to write down the 3 numbers before you add them up. You cannot do it mentally in the conventional method, unless you want to add 3 large numbers mentally which can be difficult.
I'll just use a calculator.
i dont think he made this video for people who are married to their calculators.
Maybe I'm a dumbo but he didn't explain it in a way I could understand. If that's the standard of teaching in the USA I don't think much of it.
Amzing you know how to multiply, do you know your ABC's?
it called a calculator...
more than one step man...
I thought it was supposed to improve on that old method
oh well.
I totally agree with you. This was below my expectations.
you could just multiply them it probly takes same amount of time
do you think there would be a simliar matrix-like method to multiply maybe 3 numbers at once?
i liked it , very cool vid
i learned that in 3th grade. But without boxes
it's 3rd
wait, or maybe he only progressed to 3th oops 3rd grade and dropped out.
The Hindu civilization is the oldest civilization dating back to more than 5000 years, and has been the forerunner for most of the 19th and 20th century inventions. No wonder they have advanced techniques in Maths. I wish we can get more insight into more such easy maths, which will be helpful to students.
im surprised that people don't know this already!!!
it really depends on the teachers. If the teachers don't know this, then how can they teach it to their students?
but using calculator is way faster.
yea, you fucking idiot. obviously. this is to do it faster in your head or on paper...in the event that you forgot your calculator.
well, i actually don't think this particular video is of the Human Calculator, but there is a guy out there known as the Human Calculator who does this and more and it is very awesome and quite helpful to learn to do quick math with out the help of a calculator in hand
holy shit what the fuck did i just watch.. buy a fucking calculator you fake ass einstein
why is this method any better than the traditional method? its more complicated, certainly no trick here!!
Seriously. This is just long multiplication as taught at a VERY young age at school. It is exactly the same.
i learnt how to do it twice as fast in year six.
That is totally ridiculous. It is more complicated and no quicker than regular multiplication. It's bogus.
NOrmal calculcation is fast enough since you are multiplying 3 digit only!!
I'm pretty sure that's the only way to multiply. It's not special. It's exactly the same way I learned in elementary school. It's the way I do it, my little sister does it, and pretty much the whole world does it. HOW DO YOU HAVE A HIGHER RATING THAN MY PAKOUR VIDEOS!!!!
I see some serious efforts of spreading the ancient Vedic Math around the world. I will help it too for this cause. Only problem with these techniques is that we don't have to use it anymore. I mean, we have calculators. Everything evolves. Mark my word dude. If you are a real Mathwiz, let these vedic principles evolve, and not stay limited to these multiplication and division problems. And after that when you really have solved the problems what we face now, that moment will be it. Glorify the celebration of Knowledge.
how is this amazing? they teach that to you at school at the age of 7..
Or i can type this into a calculator!!!
Need I say more?
wow wow wow now my multiplacation will take 5 sec and my friends would be jealous and i would be the best multplier next to this guy how the hell did this guy learn that he is a math discoverer thx for the tip man i am the best mental math boy on the planet next to him
Thanks for your comment. It's a technique from an ancient mathematical system from India.
That is a good one... :)
Smart!
Awesome trick!!
Nice trick !
Wow that's pretty fast.
shut ur trap, can't listen to ur alian lg
its alien, not alian. spell properly or else people might think you came from outerspace.
UR mom!!
