    this is hardly a tweak it's more of a preferential thing, it won't f***up your pc, it doesn't have any adverse effects and its free. Why is there so much hostility over pc tips?

    Anyway, another route goto Appearance/Effects to flick on/off the major hoggers in that list. For pro head to services.msc and disable Themes if your using classic or maybe as I do dual boot and get a proper distribution of Linux like Slackware where you can turn all these similar effects on and have zero impact on performance. Good video anyway.

    Actually using the classic theme over the standard 'Blue' theme can be slower in some cases, so disabling the said effects is more important than the themes if you want a more zippier system.
