  that's what the fuse block is for. too much power going to the coil. the rpms the supra was turning was more demand for ohms than could be supplied to the ignition system. That sequential twin turbo was pushing at least 1000 HP

  no man, the fuse block is not below the turbo charger (LOL@YOU) it was most likely the manifold blowing or a weld breaking off and bouncing around that made the sparks.

POORLY designed race car
Sounds nice, but the turbo is too big for the litre output of the vehicle. Not enough exhaust gasses to build boost. Notice the power never really comes on until very late in the RPM range -- making it a high output engine that is slow as hell. By the time you build boost, it's only making power for about 1500 RPMS before it's time to shift again. Stupid design that was most likely done just to see if it could be done.

fusebox is inside the car not behind the turbo, and the ault supplys the coil with amps and thats run off the engine (more rpm more amps supplyed to engine electrics and battery) that was most likey the manifold there only so much boost that can get by the vavles before it becomes a bottle neck

not bad
not bad at all. it probly could blow off a few v8. and I'm a HUGE old school muscle guy. but the power comes too late. My buddys got an 84 camaro with a 4.3L v-6. he put twin turbos on it and another $9k, it puts out right around 1000 horses.

this thing only holds boost for 1/2 a second, not good on the track when it counts. post a dyno sheet, lets see how long the power curve is.

- Yes, it's a dyno
  Basically a big drum you drive on that's braked or weighted (depending on the dyno type). You run the car hard on that, and a computer measures the power (that's how you get HP numbers). This car must be rear-wheel-drive, since the fronts are just anchored down.

  because the car isnt moving, there is not ambient air from a speedibg car cooling the motor, this is standard practice for all dyno testing
