Were not the only animal that kills for fun domesticated cats kill for fun they also eat their kill after playing with it but.... so do we!

While their prey may be killed as a result of their "play", domesticated cats do not always eat the dead bird or animal.

I've never heard that cats kill for fun. They "play" with little critters and they die as a consequence of their games. I would say the only animal that may kill for fun besides man is the Chimp since it is most like man. EVIL!

Where do you get this silly information. Coyotes are very shy, no aggressive animals. They kill for food and stay out of sight. You are nuts and need to provide more than just you opinion, especially since your opinion is wrong. If you refer to the fact that they take people's pets, that is just because they are easy prey. Deer don't have to "stalk" down grasses and grains. They eat 12 hours out of the day and just as cows don't forget how to put their nose to the ground and graze, der don't either. These are people who are experiencing what Adam and Eve enjoyed.

But what it may do is get rid of their natural sense of flight when encounterred with humans; which will cause someone here in texas to post yet another video on Metacafe titled "Deer Hunting in Texas" where the deer you see in this video will also appear on the that video.

Deer who are encouraged to come out of the woods for their food will venture closer and closer to populated areas, like our roads and highways. This is why every year the number of car/deer accidents goes up. Deer are beautiful creatures, but they are VERY dangerous when taught to interact with humans. As for hunting, if the population is not thinned out, the results are the same.

The eat in open fields, meadows, along highways (as houses are in there once open fields and nice ditchgrass grows right by the road) feeding the deer will not cause you a traffic accident. Now, enough talk about how terrible it is to feed the deer. Until you have personaly been in the position and witnessed the outcomes, don't speak. Animals are smart, they know who to trust and who not to. People have been feeding deer all accross this country, have you ever heard a story from a hunter about a deer that wouldn't leave him alone, one that wanted the granola his wife packed? the reason for the increase in car/deer accidents has ABSOLUTELY nothing to do with people feeding them, lol! The human population is rising, every year more housing developments and roadways go up. We are continuously bulldozing over the homes of wildlife, where do you think they are going to go? Or do they just magically disappear...

Those deer aren't a crop for you to "harvest".

I am an animal lover myself. But I do believe in harvesting deer. Harvest is the perfect word for it. When you harvest, you wait, you take only what is mature, not the first darn thing that comes along. There is nothing wrong with hunting, until it becomes a sport.

That is the given word for shooting any wild game dipwad. And in a way they are in fact a crop for humans to harvest just like they've been doing in this country since the days of the Pilgrims. Not sure what Deer hunting laws are in Texas, but in NY most of those deer in the video will NEVER be hunted because they're Doe.

One negative I saw about the video is the woman petting the one deer, and then eating her toast with that same hand. Not a really healthy thing to do.

Good grief, get over it! Are you one of those people who were raised to believe that all animals are dirty and chased the neighbors dog from your yard with a broom like a raving maniac? Those of us who have been around animals all our lives pet our horses and pick up a sandwich with the same hand on a trail ride, share a piece of steak with our dogs, and cuddle with our cats. If I washed my hands every time I touched an animal in 1 day, I would never leave the sind, and I would have a substantial stock in dial handsoap, lol!

Coyotes, small children, I don't think so, lol! Listen, I have lived in the country all my life. I have had horses, goats, chickens, and many other various animals. Have seen coyotes, hundreds of times. They do hunt small game, but for the most part they are scavengers. Although, my chicken coop has been raided by coons...
When they do go after livestock, it is generally young, or injured. They do not like to work for their food too much, and they tend to run from people.

you can read books and listen to what others have to say, but, animals are not stupid. God did give them a brain and natural instints. You can never domesticate a wild born animal. I know people who feed deer. The deer trust them, and only them. They will not come around when someone else is there. It can be something as simple as a new vehicle in the driveway that will deter them from coming around. These deer are not going to walk up to hunter looking for food. They probably have more common sense than you do, lol!
