firstly i want to tell you that your video contain nice and interesting staff. but also is very fifficult to understand it.It will be a goot idea if you post again a new video about that issue.

I have LINUX BackTrack with VMX and they work fine but I find difficulties on setting up my IP in The virtual machine drive,waht shall I do?
I even downloaded SLAX so I would be able to find my IP and Default gateway as well as my DNS but the internet still doesn't works.
Can you help me?Please reply

I hack in game's, and hack some other stuff for promotinal perposises, but you shuda put a warning, you can go to jail for 24+ year's...

For those of you that will never run linux because of whatever reason.. I have good news for you.

1) The guy that made the video was running windows, using vmware to load whoppix (linux) or some bootable cd version of linux similar to it.

2) You can do arp poisoning/injection & sniffing with a tool called Cain & Abel - which is of course, for windows users. Google it.

come on, give this guy a break. ARP spoofing has been around for ages. that's not even rocket science. of course... any of us can become "Ub3R Cr4Ck3r$" over night. download that, download whatever and we are set to conquer the paradise.. too bad we don't know what "printf" is good for.

this can not be done in Windows alone. You need linux to run those. You should have mentioned that.

how can we prevent such hacking?
I mean, if one somehow managed crack WAP encryption and logged in to the network, how can we detect and stop the sniffing?

This is very scarry...in my tests the only times sniffing did not return my user/pass is when a site used cookies and log you in automaticaly...

SSL decryption is impossible. that's the reason we need to get the password in plain text; before it's being encrypted. jaymill, can i have your msn or anything? since im interested to get to know guys doing pen-testing..

its not loopback, but it is very possible to do. I use ettercap quite a bit, but getting SSL disection to work is a bit of a pain in the arse, you need to have the openSSL libraries on linux. I finally got it to work on ubuntu, but in windows, (there is a windows version) SSL decryption is impossible.

nope, its not loopback. the video shows u two different vm machines; they have different ip address. the linux one is 192.168.1.155 while the xp is 192.168.1.103. this is useful when the hacker have accessed to your network (via wireless etc.). if u followed the steps correctly, it would definitely work because i've tested this on my network before making a video using my vmware machines. anyway.. thanks for watching.. please rate.. =)
