  • You guys are funny...

Geeze, so many of you are whining and moaning about how "it's staged", "the opponent isn't fighting back" and "if this was a REAL fight..."

Haven't you played organized sports before or done any training of any sorts that involve you doing drills? Doing some form of technique over and over again to hone your skills?

Make the distinction between an instructional video (such as this one) and a street-fight or UFC/Pride video.

Good ish! Friggin' quick moves too! I use to wrestle in high school so I have an idea how long you must have trained to get your techniques down.

  • you guys are obviously not contenders

you take moves like these and you make them work, you adapt what you learn according to different factors. Bytheway, you can see many of these rushing take downs in ufc or sanshou fights.

  • its good

these are demos, meaning certain enactments of takedowns, graples and submission holds. of course using them in situations is entirely up to the user, which of course sounds difficult for a novice, but for a person whos been practicing for years such as a master, could replicate certain moves with ease.
Also this demo is pretty good compared to other ones where the student usually does controlled falls.

  • What..

...is good is that he is ambidextrous. He can perform the throws with ease both from left and right counters. I am a first dan Jujitsu and its pretty hard to be good from both left and right throws

  • Whatever!

Ya, well anything can look good when its coreographed and the other guy is either not fighting back or does what the so called "master" wants him to do. Practical?.....no way!

    • the title says: Extreme Hwa Rang Do Take...

it would be a bit hard to show the moves if his student was trying to kill him. maybe he'd show you one move before the student needed the paramedics. pratical for street fighting, but not so practical when trying to make a video.

yes it is choreographed, because it's an instruction video dumbass.
