the bike would not have beat the jet or the car even with the clutch problem, the acceleration rips but the top speed is to slow.

air plane is much faster ,the acelaration of the r1 is faster than the porsche 911 turbo but the top speed of a turbo is 205mp and the r1 is 185mp,however the 911 past the biker too fast so there's gotta be something wrong with that bike

The bike was in front for a little over 20 seconds, thats easily over a 1/4 mile, probably closer to a half mile. It looks like he gave up after the jet passed him

That's OK, but as you said Viper was driven by Italian team, who knows what they done to it (joke). In Europe they are superior in some races too, but that cars were not production models, they just look like normal production Viper.

Thats all I have to say. Look at the lap times on that and compare a stock car with it. The only thing to come close is a heavily modified car or a half a million dollar Carrera GT. Chevy's C6-R would kick its ass... and I am not a GM guy... And you don't need horsepower to pull a fast lap time, weight and suspension are the most improtant.

So as I see it, the Dodge Viper beats the Bugatti in all but the estimated top speed. But I did find that neither the Bugatti or the Viper Venom have NOT been tested to there FULL potential.
Don't get me wrong I respect EVERYTHING about these cars and many more but the Dodge Viper 1000TT is just a step up from it on most levels.

if you want to see a real car look at the new saleen S7. that car is nuts with twin turbos on a 427ci V8 cranking out 750hp. does 0-60 in 2.8 sec. but the Bugatti does it in 2.4, but it costs like twice as much

your Saleen S7 TT specs are dead on, but the Bugatti 16/4 does 0-60 in 3.0 sec flat.

i was off but it says that it does 0-60 in 2.5secs. and to be able to do that and weigh in at close to 2 tones, that is a super car. whatever it really does, its an insane car.

The Dodge Would still take it down in any race, on any turf. But the Bugatti Veyron has an estimated top end speed of 279mph but it has an electronic limiter, which keeps it at 250mph, the Dodge Viper Venom is up to 255mph, but I think thats its limit. Bugatti Veyron might handle alittle better but the faster acceleration of the Dodge Viper Venom would make up for it and take the win.

There are also more American cars sold in the U.S. than any other brand. In case you didn't take an econ class- the market forces are more telling than magazine specs.

The Viper is fast and will outperform Porsche, Bugatti, Jaguar, Mercedes, etc. in a number of fields, but is it a better car? That is an entirely subjective question.

ford focus doesn't outsell european cars some people by ford because is cheap and they can't aford anything else but you don't see more ford focus in germany than wv or even bmw or audi (at least in munich) and in spain people generally drives seat or french cars that are as cheap as ford buy way better, also korean and japanesse cars are a big concurrence because are cheaper you can be as proud as you want about how many american cars you guys sell in america but in europ leading cars are european still (and anybody who has bee here in france , germany, spain, italy, greece, etc can say it or just watch any european movie)

The Bugatti would be behind the Dodge Viper for a LONG LONG time the Dodge Viper would top out at 255mph and after awhile the Bugatti would FINALLY catch up, "only if it was a long race". The Bugatti has a 16/4 and the Viper has a 10/2 and the Dodge would still smoke it like its nothing. Like I said if it was a VERY VERY LONG RACE then the Bugati would FINALLY catch up, but during the turns when they slow down the Dodge would come out of the turns alot faster pulling wayy ahead so all in all the Dodge Viper would win on a track, or drag, ONLY way the Bugatti would win if it was a straight shot track that is like 200 miles long. Only that one kind of race would the Bugati even have ANY chance of beating the Viper.

Dodge Vipers cant go around corners to save their lives, like many american supercars. The bugatti is an amazing car and its 4WD. It handles like a dream. Ask anyone who knows a thing about racing, with cars with a fairly similar straight line performance, the car with much better handling will always win on a decent track FULL STOP. Im not just american bashing here, its just that in proper racing series likes Lemans and F1, the toprunners are never american companies. Bugattis have racing heritage. They know how to make proper handling race cars, but if i wana buy a truck il happily buy a dodge. Dont get me wrong dodge vipers are decent cars, but please dont say they can handle well cos they simply cant. Man im tired after writing this...

What no one has mentioned is that the veyron was designed and built to the same reliability standards VW sets for its Golfs and regular everyday cars!!!! Where as i imagine the viper will break after 2 seconds!!! It is relatively easy to make a car go as fast as the viper venom, but to do that plus make it reliable!? Not so easy...
With respect to the racing round a circuit, the veyron is 4wd so can maintain much higher speeds around corners than the rwd viper ....... THE VEYRON WUD WIPE THE FLOOR WITH THE VIPER ROUND A TRACK!!! and i'm talking proper tracks here not Nas-boring-car ovals!!!

While top fuel dragsters are cool, this is a bit of a daft statement really.

Sure the top fueller will be faster, but the F1 car will be able to slow down without a parachute, turn round on it's own, drive back to the start ready for another go, while the dragster will be needing an engine rebuild and refueling.

Boat got thrashed the whole way, bike was winning to start off with but the rider couldnt keep the wheel down so the f1 car caught up and overtook it an then pretty much thrashed it. Id like 2 see a re-race of it with rossi on his motogp yamaha m1, that would be close.

lets get one thing straight, there has NEVER been a good handeling american sports car ever invented. ive had more fun nailing things to myself than driving on american roads, people have fallen asleep at the wheel and simply carried on for miles in a straight line. dont compare the dodge to the bugatti - the veyron is a complex and highly tuned automobile, with entire legions of european engineers aiming to create the ultimate sports car, in both performance and driveability. its 11 intercoolers and quad-turbos are just an insight into the thought and passion put into the mechanics of this beast. the dodge is a quarterback on steroids and a passion for big macs. turn the wheel an inch to the left or right and ul send the back all over the place because it is simply a hidiously designed car. its an engine with a fat shell surrounding it. dont talk 2 me about the dodge beating anything on a track, bring one anywhere near an ACTUAL race track with these funny roundish things called corners and ul be in the dirt before ive started my engine.
