    I got the impression that the owners didn't train the dog to do this. The dog just did it on its own. The owner's seemed surprised at what the dog was doing. And I think that some comments are underestimating the intelligence of dogs. I agree that it isn't a very smart thing to allow your dog to do but the dogs natural instincts knows fire is dangerous and could have done this without being trained to do it.

    What is this teaching? Train your dog to jump over fire? What if the dog makes a mistake while learning this irresponsible, dangerous trick? Is the owner prepared to put the dog in a burn unit. Those bills are pretty high, BTW.
    Metcafe, if you want to "keep it fun and positive," then don't show this. The dog has no concept of the danger he's in. If people want to do it...fine with me!! Peace, and no harm meant to anyone.
