Always save a file to Disk first, then right click and choose scan for virus and once you find it free of virus, run it.

If you have an old flash drive that you may not use, you could always download it to there and then scan before opening.

ps. sorry for my english, i'm from Poland and i'm still lerning "how to talk, write and read" - it's hard but this is the future i guess...
