  At least one person recognises the genius who was George Best. Now sadly dead (he was an alcoholic), born in Belfast N.Ireland, he was the most naturally gifted player of all time, one person comments that he could of scored earlier, indeed.   If george best had been playing in the european or brazilian leagues he would not have been able to do tricks like that because quality of play is much higher there. The NASL is not very competitive and never has been. Geogre was NOT a genius and cannot even be compared to the real ones like Pele, etc.

  YOU are totally wrong, Best is remembered for his performances for Manchester United. Cleary you have only seen footage of him playing in the US. He was a far better player at United, where he played alongside Bobby Charlton and Dennis Law in perhaps one of the best attacking forces of all time at club level.
  Best, was called 'the greatest in the world' by Pele even though he never appeared in a world cup. He was a true great.
