Do you want to know how to chain a ring which is falling down when you release it? Now you can impress your friends! Really amazing and easy trick.

Because of my low skills in English, I did a mistake in the vid. You must read "thumb" instead of "inch" word. And if you do not understand, read it:

In fact, you must hold the ring between your index and middle finger (and the thumb on the other side). Your two fingers must be parallels to the chain. You can see the pic which is zooming in the video. And after you must release the ring with your thumb in first. It will rotate and roll on the chain to make a node. That's all!

I'm sorry...
I have a Master's Degree and I cannot understand those instructions...
Perhaps my degree was in the wrong field... Can someone translate those instructions into "stupid" for me.

What's a "major" ? It looks to be the third or middle finger... But either way, that doesn't help me understand the method...
Also, "let go by the inch" or something ??? What does that mean ???
Can anyone help or can PICKUPJOJO please give another explanation...

- easy explanation
  Hold the chain spread apart as shown in the video.
  
  Hold the ring as shown in the video. Make sure it is slightly resting on a little "ledge" made by your middle finger.
  
  Let go with your thumb first. Since it's slightly resting on a ledge, it will get some spin imparted on it.
  
  That spin will naturally make the chain wrap around the ring in a knot known as the "cow hitch"

  Excellent trick. I understand the concept, but i cannot get it every time. When I get it, it works marvelously, but a lot of the time it just falls and I'm not quite sure what I am doing differently. tips would be greatly appreciated.

Truly explained...
Right before you execute the trick, turn your camera off, loop the ring into the chain, reclasp he chain, turn the camera back on, then drop the ring. Very simple, the edit is obvious, nice try though...
