How To Save METACAFE Videos

this doesnt work at all i tried for 2 days to get it to work and nothing i downloaded that flash thing too and it still didnt work people shoudnt post things that dont work you should delete this vid.

Just download Firefox video saver and you'll have a tiny icon on the bottom right of the browser window that you can click to download videos. MUCH better.

Cant seem to get this to work. Got it to download but couldnt find program to open file. I downloaded an flv player and it still doesnt work. Anyone know what Im doing wrong.

when i right click on the download link thingy i only have the option of 'save link as'. I dont have the option of 'save target as'.

the video is from youtube. anyone got any ideas?

The videos from metacfe get downloaded fine, but when I downloaded from youtube, it automatically gets saved as HTM and doesn't let me choose, infact it doesn't specify file type when saving. HELP!!!

5 stars because i used to go into the source file and then copied the .wmv file then made a link in html then i would open the new html document and click save file as but then you tube and metacafe went all fancy with flashplayer coding on my ass and now i can barely download the flash file but luckily you people came along thank you

and simply click no the video a "save as" :P

Just download metacafe desktop and click "save item"...much easier. Later you can save it into cd or dvd by searching in the incoming folder where it download every file.

can you download it in another format? like mp4 or windows media? 'cause that weird format S**ks
