I didn't know rich people would drive used cars. They probably fell for that 'certified pre-owned' line they stick in advertisements.

quicksilver rhymes with silver. its true!

yeah, a hurricane lasts for 10 minutes, how long does the nukes last? 100 years! the land is good for nothing and people still get cancer after 100 years!

    • hmm.....

true, quicksilver rhymes with silver, but the hurricane one, i was talking about energy. A nuke uses up so up energy on impact.......but a hurricane can reach that energy in about 10min

a nuke doesn't use up all of its energy on impact. Their is radioactive decay in that area for decades after the blast. The Tsar Bomba is the largest bomb ever dropped, but it wasn't even dropped a full capacity. If it was, even it wouldn't have produced more energy than a hurricane. But it would have increased the earths fallout by 25%. The stats?
the largest hydrogen bomb ever tested produced 2.4 X 10^17 joules
a typical hurricane amounts to about 3.8 X 10^19 joules
Waterfalls have alot of energy, but not destructive (except for eating theirself). The sun's light hitting the earth probably has more energy than all nukes and hurricanes combined.. but a neat little molecule chlorophyll causes that energy to be productive.
The difference is, hurricanes are over a much wider area, so its less energy per area.
Unfortunatly energy is not the only ingredient. Talk about global warming and global dimming.. fallout.. blocking the sun.. causing all sorts of craziness. nukes are bad, hurricanes are good. except for the people getting hit by them!

    • ok

sorry about that then, i ment most of its energy, not all of it. I know a nuke's energy can last a long time. Ex: Japan, if I'm right, there is some radioactivity there since WWII
