..its hard work and addicting. To see oneselfs body go through a transformation like that is... something.

Most bodybuilders never touch steroids, people just dont know about them. Without the steroids its a very healthy lifestyle.

  ALL top-level athletes use some form of performance aid. Bodybuilders, cyclist, sprinters. Even in the Olympic biathlon. whether it's anabolic steroids, EPO, ACE inhibitors, beta-2 agonist or IGF-1. You name it, if it gives someone a competitive edge it will be utilized. In no way does using something take away from the dedication and perseverance involved.

Huge but not Mr. Olympia this year
For all of those negative people out there - these bodybuilders make a choice to get that big just as some enjoy running a marathon or other. Yes most do cycles of steroids to help enhance their physiques. But as we all know- so do other athletes. A bodybuilder lifestyle is much more regimented than that of a baseball player, football player, or most other sports. It doesn't mean he is gay or the poster is gay it just means he is bigger than you so it is easier for you to lash back. Personally I would never want to be that huge or even close. But if all of the fattys out there got off the computer and stopped blaming it on metabolism, thyroid or other crap -- got their ass in the gym they - would be healthier and confident too. To each their own
