What about jellyfish they dont have a brain but they move and eat.They dont think but we call thim alive simply becauase they function.But theres no consiouse there they are alive in the same way a foetus is.A foetus isnt even a empty hard drive yet waiting to be filled with info because its hard drive/brain doesnt exist to any real level yet.
