Great Keyboard Practical Joke! Prank!

if you have the time to steal your friends keyboard for the day and sneak it back in without them knowing. and i dont know of many people having a soadering iron let alone knowing how to use them. and im sure that the main people using this prank would be teens, and im not sure if thered work thats hard to get a little noise to come out of a keyboard.

You could dismantle their monitor screen and mess around with that too. They wont mind. Infact why not upgrade their PC while you got your tools out!!!

It wil drive us Crazy Trying to do this.

lame.. too much work for a gag. I got a better one. Just super glue your co-workers pens or screwdrivers to their bench/desk. Loads of laughs! Or wad up a piece of paper and stick it in the optical mouse eye witha piece of clear tape over it. Thats good stuff!

Just take of all of the keys and reassemble the keys any order u like..

then laugh your ass off when he/she picking the keys out and struggling to reassemble them..

warning: they may beat your ass to the ground..

might as well just reverse the backspace key and the spacebar. pressing the spacebar is instinct. that would be tourture lol

ya should hook up a fart generator to all the vowels....

i wouldnt do that for a prank, i would do that to my own keyboard, that is so cool!

Don't the lights on the keyboard flash every time you turn on the computer? The music would play when he turned it on thus ruining the prank.

If you have access to his keyboard, you probably have access to his computer. A harmless trojan can do the absolutely same thing...

You could upload a sound file from a USB drive and then go to the control panel/sounds/ and set that sound to play when the caps lock (or other function) happens. There are a lot of options here, so you could have plenty of fun setting different sounds to different functions. No soldering, dis assembly, or even screwdrivers required. (except maybe the kind you drink)

...would be to have porn sounds come out!

Awesome video. I' m gonna rig my keyboard with those greeting cards that allow you to record your own message. Then scream into it and shout "UNLEASH THE CAPSLOCK FURY!"

How am i supposed to do that at my m8s house in the time he goes to the toilet and back. No chance i can just say to him either ' hey mate, can i take your keyboard home....'

just take a screwdriver to the keys and pull em all off the keyboard and put them back on in the wrong spots :)

a practical joke? that joke will take you like hours..im looking for a 1min joke to do jesus..thats something nerds do. too advanced which means it sux

i could make a program that could do this and wouldn't permanently damage someone's keyboard.

I can understand where some people would find this difficult, but it's not that hard, just a pain trying to procure someone's keyboard. I guess when I got in to computers and electronics in the late 70's and early 80's you needed to know something about electronic and repairing equipment of the fly. I've had to jerry rig pleny of gear back in the day with just my soldering gun and a lot of luck! As mentioned, this is pretty elaborate, and I wouldn't try it on a $80-$100 keyboard either
