This only works with XP/2000 computers because they have the shutdown tool built in.
NOTE: I used my own IP address for this tut, but you can enter other ip's or even browse the network for computers.

go to start then run and type shutdown -a to cancel a shotdown

ummm, not exactly tho
Will not work on a remote machine unless you have admin rights or permission..... even on your own lan.
