Seriously dude - as others have pointed out, MS has other ways of spying on you vs the clock settings. Automatic Windows update would be first on my list of prime candidates - install whatever the hell they like on your comp. WHEN they like. THAT is scary.

Anyone familiar with time server's like microsoft's should also be aware that it utilizes TIME protocol on port 37. All TIME protocol allows for is a 32 bit binary number containing the number of seconds since 00:00 (midnight) 1 January, 1900 GMT. 32 bits is too small for a buffer overflow and you can't send executable data either. This video is bullshit and this guy made an easy $267 for exploiting those who don't know anything about common protocols such as TIME.

Is it really a big deal if people spy on you? Microsoft and other companies just use your info for the purpose
of improving their service. I don't know about you but I like better service.

what about the updates which are automatically added to your PC can't they add an update and spy on you?
