    First time I watched this I heard Fah each time. Second time I heard bah (probably only because I knew then that it really was bah). I do not wear glasses, nor do I need them,and I don't use hearing aids.

    i hear ba... with or without visual. without audio i hear "a" ahh. i didnt know i needed contacts till i was 12.. so i probably learned to use only my ears.

      Perhaps your hearing is dominant over your vision since you went so many years needing corrective lenses.

      There is a percentage of the population for which this illusion does not work. It would be interesting to learn if there are correlations between needing glasses or contacts at a young age and the illusion not working.
