Agreed - definately was Le Tournoi, Lyons, 3 June, 1997
Theres a much better clip of this goal taken from a different camera angle. There has to be cause I saw it replayed on tv loads of times before the end of the competition.
The sheer bend of the ball is much more noticable in that clip and people in the seats behind move quickly to the left in expectation of the ball to come hard in their direction - before it gloriously curls in at the last moment to find the inside right of the post.

defo no fake i remember watching the tournament, was unbelivable 2 see but he jus hit it so hard it spun back in on the last sec, amazing one of the best free kicks ive seen however, he doesnt regurlay score freekicks let alone spectacular free kicks so think its a bit far fetched 2 say Carlos is the second best free kick taker of recent decades
