It’s odd that it seems so natural. We can’t fly. We’re not birds. Even some birds can’t fly. So what is it that makes so much sense to you during takeoff, when the wheels leave the ground, when your craft tilts upward pushing away from the rest of us? You’ll have to log the hours and learn the language. But soon that landing strip will mark a journey’s end, it’ll be just another spot to refuel.
