the gas that comes from the human gastral intestinal portion of the human body, from the very rectum if you will, is quite a bit warmer then the rest of the body. plus if the infrared camera is set to human heat, then it would be noticably more visible.

Fingertips receive less heat. His fingertips are dark / black, therefore cold. The belt is close up to his stomach - an area of heat. It is white - so hot.
The gas is dark - therefore very cold. Most likely an aerosol. You can also see from the position of his left arm (straight down and hand pointing backwards) that he is holding something - most likely a cannister.
Still... nice flick!

LOL.. I knew what this was before I even clicked on it. This is just a short piece of a recent Saturday Night Live skit. It was a parody of the British ghost hunting show "Most Haunted Live". In the skit, the psychic that led the team accidently farts, and this is supposed to be their thermal camera footage of it happening. Which they played, after listening to the audio recording of it about 10 times over, then several times in slow motion. lol
