The law of conservation of energy states that the total amount of energy in an isolated system remains constant. A consequence of this law is that energy cannot be created or destroyed. The only thing that can happen with energy in an isolated system is that it can change form, that is to say for instance kinetic energy can become thermal energy. I decided to only comment on the fact that the video didn't specify torque. Trying to stop the shaft with your hand is next to meaningless. Also, the video shows the current draw with no load on the motor. I bet when he did slow it with his hand, the current draw increased significantly. Also, just because you have 1200 volts powering the motor and 10,000 at the coil, doesn't mean you are getting more energy out than you are putting in. You're only seeing a higher voltage. The motor may only be drwing a few milliamps, but how much power is being used by the HV supply?

I've checked this engine and i'm still wondering what the hell is that pyramid shape box you keep seeing in the video, there's no mention of it nowhere, I really doubt that this machine is capable of running on it's own. I would need to see a better video than that to convince me honestly but the concept is interesting though­.
