    I would use Calcium Carbonate to keep it from sticking to your hands while modeling.... that would be ground chalk finely powdered... I made this in Chemistry 101...Looks like your mixture is better than the one I used... Do you know how to make others?

    2 table spoons of glue and about 1.5-2 tablespoons of starch (keeps it from sticking to your hands)Stir VERY good, and drop it in your hands for a while, and then you get good silly putty.

    part white glue (eg. elmers etc..) and solution of borax (cleaning solution) and h2o. works faster kinda-ish. no stirring. this video's technique is new to me. never made it this way before.

    Does this stay soft for a long time ? and does it go hard when it dries out ?
    Looks good... A little easier than the play dough I used to make, which requires heating...

    • Depends...

      If it is stored in something like a sealed ziplock bag, then it stays nice and soft. If left out, it slowly drys out and gets harder (which can sometimes be a good thing depending on how your batch turns out).
