I would use Calcium Carbonate to keep it from sticking to your hands while modeling.... that would be ground chalk finely powdered... I made this in Chemistry 101...Looks like your mixture is better than the one I used... Do you know how to make others?

to make real silly putty you need pva (polyvinyl alcohol), water, and borax, its as simple as that

this isnt the same substance as silly putty. silliy putty is not made of glue and starch, i know cause i made this in middle school and it goes bad after about 3 days, its just not the same thing

pva is polyvinyl alcohol
part white glue (eg. elmers etc..) and solution of borax (cleaning solution) and h2o. works faster kinda-ish. no stirring. this video's technique is new to me. never made it this way before.

Looks good... A little easier than the play dough I used to make, which requires heating...
- Depends...
If it is stored in something like a sealed ziplock bag, then it stays nice and soft. If left out, it slowly drys out and gets harder (which can sometimes be a good thing depending on how your batch turns out).
