    A job where duty takes precedence over money, a job where people take it upon themselves to put themselves in harms way for the common good. These were the ones who went into a burning building to guide frightened people on that day on 9/11, these were the ones who inspired our nation in that time of need.These men and women who are the idols of children, who here did not want to be a firefighter as a kid. Every day we wake up and take on the 9-5 knowing our duties. They wake up and don't know what the next 12 hours might bring.
