    ive riding in an AMG but not the e55. the one im talking about had about 365bhp and the S**t was a beast. i can only imagine how much faster these two cars can go but im a bimmer fan and own one as well. but im thinking of owning an amg for that amg are my intials. stupid in know. but o well great vid very close

      "german" that knows his cars, you should have known that the E55 AMG puts out 420 hp , and the M5 has 500, and the M5 is a little lighter ,soooo..... you don't know S**t , and if you're german , what?       get your facts right, the e55 has 476bhp not 420. i own a e55 and can tell u first hand 0-60 and 0-100 the e55 will take the m5. as it is supercharged whereas the m5 is not, however past 100 the m5 will take it. this is partly because of the older 5 gear auto transmission of the e55. this has since been replaced by a 7 speed auto transmission for the newer e63.

    Anyone knows that all Mercedes AMG are drop tops and thats not a drop top so thats a lie. Also a AMG would kill that M5 because they have a v12 under the hood turbo charge get your cars right and stop lieing.

    although the mercedes amg has around 800bhp, it's top speed is only 150mph!
