The SOS campaign has two main objectives
1. The creation of no take zones where fishing is prohibited covering 10% of Hong Kong waters to allow fish stocks to recover and reproduce undisturbed.
2. The phasing out of highly destructive bottom trawling from most areas of Hong Kong.
