This unique audio CD contains first hand memories of the outbreak of war, the Dunkirk evacuation, the Battle of Britain, Rationing, the Blitz; including air raids on Maidstone and Canterbury, Lord Haw Haw, the Yanks in Britain, the bomber offensive against Germany, D-Day, VE-Day and more. The CD also includes rare archive sound recordings and wartime music. Proceeds from the sale of the CD go to the Royal British Legion and the Chart Sutton War Memorial Pavilion Fund. CD produced by Kent video production company Kersh Media to mark the 70th anniversary of the outbreak of World War Two. Interviews recorded in 1989 by Graham Majin.
