On July 24, 2009 Asocietyred came to me with a request to create an animated music video using one of their songs.
I started my research by looking at photos of the band on Myspace, reading the lyrics to the songs, and listening to the music. Once I had a clear vision in my mind about the cultural identity of the band, and what the song,"Bl99ding Into the Sunset," is saying I started animating in Flash Professional 8. I illustrated environments, characters and visual effects of all sorts, and used a few photos, and edited video with Photoshop CS, Adobe After Effects and Flash to create a sense of realism in some parts of the animation.

    It was cool the way he drew the band battling the ninja.
    I also liked how they defeated Cronos, and the way he drew the reaper's boat. I thought this was a nicely done animation, and I hope to see more like it in the future.
