SMAP is a popular Japanese "idol" group in the '90s and very much active in the industry at present.
Members are
Masahiro Nakai [in Pink tee],
Takuya Kimura [in Green tee],
Tsuyoshi Kusanagi [in yellow hoodie],
Goro Inagaki [in White shirt with tattered jeans] and Shingo Katori [Blonde hair]

Their variety program, SMAPxSMAP, started way back in '96. It shows various types of entertainment ranging from cooking, comedy, and games to singing and dancing.
Notable celebrities appeared in this show like: The Backstreet Boys, David Beckham, Matt Damon, Kylie Minogue, Avril Lavigne, Coldplay, Richard Gere, Sheryl Crow, Catherine Zeta-Jones and Utada Hikaru, just to name a few...

31st May 2006 > Michael Jackson made a special appearance during their rehearsal. It was, in fact, Michael's first and last variety program he ever came to light.
