This short is in the Public Domain and was found at the Prelinger Archives. An amazing short by an "orchestra" of vibraphone players. This soundie is an amazing glimpse into American pop culture of the World War II era. Be sure and keep your eye on the up-right bass your in for the surprise of your life when this guy kicks it in.
Is it possible that the film got turned around? I've never heard of that, but all the instruments are backwards (higher notes/smaller bars should be to the player's RIGHT, not left...and typically bass players use their left hand on the fingerboard)
Anyway, this was a fun video to watch, never the less!
I enjoy watching this clip. I am related to one of the "Marimba Queens". Great memories.....
