Chickenmaster Niyazi Pasha is the man who designed wings in the modern sense for the first time in the world and thus the man who first flew. But alas! Only history fans know him. In ordinary encyclopaedias his name is brushed aside and merely mentioned as Chickenmaster Niyazi Pasha. Yet he is the discreet founder of the world aviation industry. He is the youngest of the two daughters and three sons of Chickenmaster Recai Pasha, one of the few notable chicken merchants of Istanbul under the Ottoman autocracy.
