In the month of December 2001 at least as many innocent people died there as did on 911 in the US. Some reports put the figures at more like 10,000 or 50,000 or even 200,000.

You can't fight an enemy without borders. You can hang onto your pride and take it out to someone else, or you can discover why we were attacked and solve the problem.
We might feel big and strong after attacking a country that had nothing to do with this (Iraq), but we have done nothing to solve the problem. When the nuke comes our way, and it surely will, we will all wish our government used more finess and less might.

You don't go into another mans country, break it up and dismantle it, leaving its inhabitants worse off than before, and leave without pissing a lot of people off...
The arguments leading up to the war were all comletely bogus...before accepting blindly what [our] governments tell us, we should inform ourselves properly - not be quick support actions that blatently are going to lead to thousands and thousands of deaths...
I don't get why so many people were pro-war [ I register that there were many against it too ]...wars are the worst possible thing...unless you're properly getting attacked - stay out!...the US [ and Britain ] should be mediating for peaceful solutions..not instigating conflicts...

And they think it was bad enough with the towers coming down, what about all them people in the city who were subjected to the asbestos that has been scattered throughout the city, and everyone had no choice but to breath that in... So in 30 years the towers are going to return but to haunt the people who were lucky to get away without going down with them... with the lease holder of the towers larry silverstein, he was losing money on the towers because of the asbestos, the lack of tenants and the high cost of upgrades n repairs.. a year before the strikes he beefed up his ins. policy to cover terrorists acts, then two months prior to 911 he started with the demolition job leading to the day the planes would hit.. he knew about it, giuliani knew about it, bush knew about it.. the planes were just a handy lil cover that fit perfect for a rebuild.. when the towers were built they had plane crashes in mind due to the empire state building gettin hit by a 707 back in the sixties, but hey, did the empire building fall? ha, nope, still standin.. there has NEVER been a steel frame building that has completely fallen n been destroyed by fire.. yea its been a very bad deal since then, n the hijackers are peices of crap for doin what they did, i feel about them just like any other american, its just despicable what they did.. but they are not the only a-holes behind it

The bridge is not "The Golden Bridge," it's the Brooklyn Bridge. I watched the towers fall from my roof in Brooklyn (right under that plume of smoke in the NASA photo). Burned paperwork from offices in the towers fell in my neighborhood nearly two miles away from towers. Everyone in NYC knows someone that lost a husband, wife or parent that day. It still makes me sad, but I can't stop watching these clips.
