This was an animation student's project from QUT (Queensland University of Technology) in Brisbane, Australia. I know because I went there for a year and in orientation week they showed us this as an example of past student's work. I don't know who did it or when but obviously the reason why it is so short and (some people might think it but I don't) technically unresolved is that it was a student project that only had to go for a short amount of time - just to show their animation skills for assessment.

Very enjoyable. As for the detractions I’ve read, I see nothing bad enough to take away from the enjoyment of the clip. Texture rendering? – Irrelevant. That wasn’t the focus of the piece. Too much thrusting? – Same was said of Trivolta & Jackson and they both have bigger bank accounts than I do. Mixing of ancient mythology & contemporary entertainment is a great combination. The only detraction I agree with is it was to short.

By 3D standards these days the renders are a bit poor really. Seems they have taken the idea of using a statue as an excuse for not texturing properly. Also, I could swear that i've seen this somewhere before. In a game maybe?

This is a copy off an actual gaming video. The music has been changed. Origionaly it was lets get retarded by the Black eyed peas. You can tell its a ripoff because he doesnt go off screen. The origional is on the video Fellowship of NOA which is a gaming video.
