I think the Mercedes CLS Brabus (365 km/h) is the fastest (top speed) sedan, but I prefer BMW and Evo.

actually, the m5 is not the fastest 4-door car. the mercedes e63 amg is a tad faster, and even b4 that the e55 amg was also faster. and the evo's acceleration is no where near that of the m5, so i dont know who came up with that but they are way off. and, we all know the ferrari f430 is way better than any bmw, no offense to bmw, they are awesome cars, but come on, its a ferrari

The BMW M5 really is the fastest 4 door saloon car ever! I agree the crappy Lancer Evo cannot compare with a car like this.. I mean really they spend only about 2 days making the Evo and spend 2 weeks making just one BMW M5 so yeah you can guess which one is better :)

All the cars you mention, are very good, but you need to have the money to get them, i enjoyed the video and i m sure Jeremy did too! I love fast cars, but with low budget i discovered one of the best cars. Lancia Thema turbo. Four door family car, 0-100km in 7, top 240kph, (all these without mods), with extras you wont believe, and with a very low price. Do your search..

I had a Z4 which was scary.Incredibly skittish at 70mph. I was often overtaken at speed by some young girl or other in a little Fiesta while I was hanging onto the Z4's steering wheel for grim death.
Have now changed to a seies 6 which is a dream of a BMW but costs the same as the Gross National Product of a small country.

well put. my grandpa has a m3 roadster and its quick but it gets blown around easily...and the seats start to kill your butt after a long trip.

Australian V8, not sure about American availability but you can get in England for 30,000 sterling, about $60,000. whereas the M5 would be double that.

M5 is a nice car, but not the fastest, the Benz's E55 and E63 are faster. And they both are also 4dr sedans. Check Car and Driver, or Motor Trend for actual numbers.

by the way the fastest 4 door in the world is not the M5 or the EVO, its the Mercedes Cls version by brabus (nicknamed brabus rocket). everybody has to admit that the M5 kicks ass tho

The new Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution MR FQ-400 easily tops this car in terms of speed. And yes, it still is a four door saloon. Don't get the wrong idea. M5 is really nice. But can it beat FQ400's 405 HP which is produced out of a mere 4 cylinder 2 liter engine and hits 0-60 in 2.5 sec. That is just pure engineering revolution. Faster than a Murcielago or even a zonda in short distances.
