This is simply a blindfolded solve of a 3x3x3 Rubik's Cube. Using a scrambling program, I generated a random scramble, scrambled the cube, started the timer, memorized the cube's layout, then put on a blindfold and solved the cube. This video is not fake -- it just takes a bit of spatial reasoning, muscle memory, and practice. The World Record for this type of solve is currently held officially by Leyan Lo (1 minute 28 seconds), who is still better than I am at blindfoldsolving -- I just so happened to catch this solve on video. Note that the time includes both memorization AND execution.

      ASdADAWD, you clearly don't know what you're talking about. There's a very logical method to his solving, and you can follow it - _if_ you understand it. He's not just reversing the directions on the screen.

      Oh, and as to Tyson - Tyson's never done it this fast, ever. I don't knew where you got "one third this guys time" from, but either you're referring to without the blindfold, or are a liar. If you come up with a video that proves that, please, link it; I'd be glad to watch it and be proved wrong.

      This video clearly shows him beating the world record (unfortunately, unofficially) for the fastest blind Rubik's Cube solving. Next time kids, check the facts :)

    It a video file played by reverse. When the guy has his eyes covered actually he shuffle the cube.

    I can only do it blindfold-less in about 50 seconds >.

    D*MN IT!!! THAT WAS AMAZING! AND I THOUGHT I WAS GOOD! ( My record time is about what u got, except I wasn't blindfolded.) Well, that's better than anything I've done... U rock, keep rockin', even on ur death bead some 70-80 years from now, rock with god in heaven (unless ur an athiest,) yada, yada, blah bla bla... well, u get it. I bring my cube to school 'cause I get bored, and people think I'm a nerd (which I may be, but I hope not,) but u, u've reached a new level of nerd! (in a good way though!)

    i have to say man, you did really well. a few things... you might want to check out some more figure tricks because it looks a little odd the way you do some moves, but you do one of them fine... you also had the cube get locked... other than that, i dont see why you cant hold the record. i wish i could do the blindfold solves. can you explain how you do the blindfold solve compared to the normal solve? k thx good job

    I've enjoyed solving single color sides for about 3 weeks now. My son moves it around and tells me which color and I can get one color down. I once was in a streak of deep thought and was able to solve one side, their respective rotator color sides and a few of their respective middle rotator color sides. All i had to do was solve the bottom rotator and the bottom rotator sides and I would have been done but someone interrupted me and I haven't been ever able to re-enter that deep thought mode, I don't think I will ever be able to ever again. It was a mode of being that I never entered before.
