Why are you people comparing hendrix to malmsteen.. I don't think you people even know who malmsteen is.. now don't get me wrong Hendrix was a F**king bad ass guitarist.. and will always be known as a bad ass guitarist.. But Malmsteen as been claimed as the world's best solo guitarist.. You might wanna check S**t out before you make stupid ass comments.

Are u kidding ???? If you go and ask to yngwie if he is better than malmsteen he ll answer would be tha hendrix is everything and tha he couldnt be compared to him , malmsteen plays guitar because he listened and get inspired by hendrix and there are videos from malmsteen telling this

This was very good. Not very much soul in the playing, though, so I'm gonna give him 4 stars. Not that it sounds bad, just kind of mechanical.

different era of music, different styles and techniques,one plays bluesy rock and the other neo-classical, hendrix was an innovator in slides as van halen did hammer on technique, yngwie rocks in scales
if you ask me, hendrix was an inspiration to all guitarists who came after him.. he innovated a style which evolved onto different other genres and styles.
he was the god..as in the creator ...and thats the credit any guitarist would give him , yngwie made speed metal popular and then took randy roads ill fated beginings of neo-classical and also made it popular

Look, I've been watching videos on here all night by "so called" virtuoso's. This guy is nowhere even close to playing Yngwie note for note but make no mistake, THIS GUY HAS TALENT!!! I've played for some 18 years now and I know what I'm talking about. I've run recording studios and live sound all over this country. I'm not saying this guy is a guitar GOD or anything like that. I'm simply telling the truth. He's got talent, and if you can't recognize that, you woudn't know talent if it jumped up and bit you on the ass.

Many of musicans consider that Hendrix was a guitar genius and foreruner in rock playing. I agree with them. I'm learning play guitar in school music since 7 years. Easy, I know that isn't so much. If you're define BEST guitar player only because of his SPEED you're doing a big mistake. You must know that SPEED on guitar is THE SMALLEST PROBLEM. You must know too that TECHNIC is thing that you always can LEARN. It's just question of hard work by exercises. MOST IMPORTANT thing in playing is thing that you CAN'T just learn- it's your soul, that what you feel while playing, engaging heart in making sweet and sounds good music, and it depend on your tallent and musical. Remember that even FASTEST guitar solo devide emotions won't be valuable thing. ;)

stupids classical musicians, they will never make a penny with their music, and you can listen to HIS music in his web... if Yngwie, Paul Gilbert, Marty Friedman, the crappy Kirk Hammet... etc are called the best players this guy should be one of them. Oziel is a great player, I think that his nose give him some energy haha, but he is great
