A KC-135 tanker was flying so low over Sussex Airport during an airshow and it looked to be so close to hitting it's right wingtip agains't the treeline during its second pass.

    That commentator doesn't know what she is talking about. The air refueling pumps are hyrdaulicly driven, not electric. They offload at a maximum of 6,800 lbs/min which is approximately 1,000 gallons per minute not hour.

      It is also not a Boeing 707. It was derived from the Boeing 367-80 (commonly called the Dash 80) which the B707 is also derived from. It was originally designated Model 717. The KC-135 is shorter and has a narrower fuselage than the B707.
