The painted fiberglass hull holds a direct-drive 550-size motor for realistic scale speeds. The 2-channel AquaCraft radio is made by Futaba®. An electronic speed control allows the Atlantic to move smoothly in forward and reverse. Installed and operational, the lights are controlled by their own on/off switch. Other scale details include rubber bumper tires, ladders, tie stanchions, life preservers, fire extinguishers and a lifeboat with working davit — all of which make the Atlantic perfect for display on the included stand when not on the water.
