    I have a problem maybe u can help me. I followed all the steps and all in fact i had the forlders already set up to show the hidden files priviously but one of these days i was showing one of my girlfriends how to do it and i accidently selected to hide the folders and files but when i tried to reverse the procedure and i click on show hidden folders and files and then press ok it doesn't do anything 'till this day i've tried restarting the computer n still doesn't show the hidden folders and files. What do u think I should do?

      my bad, i accendtally hit report on your post djTRA....sorry dude, didnt meen to. um what you need to do is look for blue texts in the folders. the blue meens its hidden...it should come up in a search

    Hi there when you are pasting the searched songs...the name of them change for the original ones?...i mean you put those songs in the libray...then can you copy the songs with the original name for a paste of music?

    Another question...there is any possibility to search all the songs instead of searching by the artits or albums name....?

    I recently downloaded all of my mates music on my ipod and want to takew some of it off. Can I just go into music and copy each file into my itunes, delete it and then sync?

      im not sure what you mean, other mp3 players with a hard drive? As far as i know they do work the same way, although they probably dont make it difficult by renaming the files. If that didnt answer ur question just hit me back and i'll try to do better.

      PS. sorry about the music, in some parts the notes dont translate well to computer speakers and it sound terribly out of tune. I usually end up using beats that arn't being used by my band, so they arnt the best.

      I don't have either, but have been thinking about buying either a pod or MP3 and people have good and bad on why I should buy one over the other? I am in my 40s and trying to catch up to all this new technology? Anything would help me!

      What do you suggest? iPod or MP3? Which is easier to work with for someone with little knowledge, but would like to gather music and play it in the car. Tired of handling a million CDs and storing them in the car as well. Someone told me an iPod needs attachments but MP3 doesn't to play in the car?

    • ill try to help clear up some confusion

      an ipod is an mp3 player by definition. it also plays videos ( if they are in a very specific almost unheardof format and resolution). I, as you probably guessed, have an ipod (30 gig video). I like these because they do have so many additions and becuase they are so widely used, they are cheap and easy to find info on. On the other hand, i hate Apple. They try way too hard to make their products specific for their agenda of selling you music. For example they are selling music in mp4 now, which cant be listened to w/ out some sort of activation (im a little fuzy on the specifics). Some other brands my friends have are: Arcos and that one that starts with a 'z' (forget the name). If your only interest is music, then i would go for an ipod. Regular burnable CD's can be set to "MP3 disk" and can hold about 110 songs. They must be played with an mp3 playing walkman or computer. Goodluck with ur search, many other people have similar questions so answeres wont be hard to find.
