Anyone who wants to seriously look into the context of Shaw's remarks should read his preface to "on the rocks" and if you're short on time, just read Shaw's quotes on wikiquotes and see the section under On the Rocks.
Even they have stated that the extermination on a scientific basis line is deliberately taken out of context.
