Evolutionists cannot provide proof of a single legitimate missing link for humans or a single transitional being for animals. All cultures have legends of a world-wide flood.

If there was a Big Bang, where did the atoms, molecules, matter, anti-matter, singularities, or energy come from? How does something come from nothing? Both creation and evolution pose the same problem, since you could ask me where God came from. I will simply admit that I do not know. Since something cannot come form nothing, then we can agree that something has always existed. Since the universe has been proven to be finite, what alternatives are left? The Bible says that God is spirit and states great is the mystery of godliness. Psalm 14:1 says "The fool hath said in his heart, there is no God."

    • tired arguments

same tired arguments that have been refuted time and time again. Hey tell us how god calls bats birds, unclean birds
      Deuteronomy 14:11-18

    • Refuted? By whom?

Tired arguments? Then please answer my question. How does something come from nothing? Your scientists have proven the universe to be finite, correct? It had a beginning. I think we can also agree that something does not come from nothing, right? Therefore, something has always existed. We exist in linear time. God exist outside of time. I think it is beyond quantum physics to understand how God sometimes interacts with our dimension. I await your answer.

    • But evolution does happen

Why do you think we have so many breeds of dog, cattle, wheat, rice, etc.? They evolved through inbreeding and interbreeding, initiated by human decisions (as opposed to natural selection). As so many of these breeds didn't exist even 100 years ago, you can't really deny that they evolved.

So, I suppose it must be natural selection, not evolution that you doubt. This shows a startling lack of imagination - just think of a small isolated population of any species that needs to inbreed to survive. It will change - inbreeding does that. That's it: evolution by natural selection explained in a nutshell.

The theory of evolution by natural selection, says nothing about God. To deny that it occurs is just blinkered, as it's clearly happening all the time (Where did drug resistent malaria and MRSA come from?). It's such a beautifully simple way of keeping life going, no matter what happens - why not just accept that this is how God does things?

    • Uhh...

when things interbreed they mutate dumb ass.... these mutations can be good or bad.... some birds have been so mutated from interbreeding they could no longer fly

    • Not sure

why you've addressed that comment to me - that was exactly the point I was making.

    • But can you give me an example.....

of where a dog becomes a cat....
or where a monkey becomes a human....
or where a virus becomes a bacteria....
      You cannot.

I work in a clinical setting in the medical field. Mutation does not equal macro-evolution. The MRSA you mention is not evolving into Klebsiella, for example. MRSA always has been and always will be Staph aureus.

Bacterial and viral infections mutate and therefore have the ability to combat the natural immune system and also overcome newly developed drugs. However, mutant forms of such pathogens do not demonstrate evolution from one species into another, but only show mutational changes within species. Even though bacteria do exhibit limited change, they remain the same species. In order to develop new drugs it is necessary to understand how pathogens mutate and pass on information, and understanding this change process does not require acceptance of Darwinian macro-evolution.

Some bacteria can pass lengths of DNA, known as plasmids, horizontally to other bacteria. These plasmids sometimes carry information that protects the bacteria against external attacks from antibiotics. It is also known that so called super-bugs such as MRSA are in fact less fit to survive in open competition with healthy varieties of the same organism. Mutations may confer some limited advantage to protect against antibiotics, by for instance losing the normal location where the antibiotic locks onto the bacteria’s ribosome. Other possible mutations include loss of control mechanisms so that the bacterium produces more enzymes to destroy the antibiotic. This requires greater energy usage for the bacteria, making it less fit when living along side non-mutated forms where antibiotics are not present.

  • Forgot

They forgot to metion that there are super massive black holes at the center of every galaxy, and that the surrounding galaxy is only .5% of the total weight. They also forgot to mention that when two galaxies collide that the super massive black hole (the combined one) starts feeding on the surrounding gasses, planets and stars around it.
