is it important? and there's also the muscle above ur buttocks (those
on ur lower back) they must be important for the planche, how do we

  I will send soon a abbs training and yes it's important. But not really for the planche.
  The lower back is not really important for the planche (do you have problem to lift your leg back if you stand on one feet?). All is in your shoulder. When you lift your legs, they go farther of your shoulder and put more force on your shoulder, it's why they are difficult to lift.

Legs Up
Hi, many people who I know start learning the flag by kicking their legs up so that their legs are vertical above them while their body is horizontal. Here is a picture: http://i58.photobucket.com/albums/g268/lordoftherabbits/flaginthepark2.jpg . Do you think that is a good position to start with?
